I’ve never met a writer that doesn’t also love to read. Here are some of my personal favorite books:
Romance : Memoirs of a Geisha – I love/hate everything about this book. It breaks all my personal rules and yet I still find it compelling.
Epic : Shogun – It’s like a vacation into another era and locale. A literary isekai experience.
Horror : Jurassic Park. I loved the original movie. As good as the movie is the book is better.
